FAQ

No. MovoSuite handles the Intune side for you. You pick apps and devices; it does the technical work in the background.

Your administrator has likely enabled role-based access, which scopes what you see to your school or location. This is intentional. If something you need is missing, ask your administrator. See Signing in.

Section titled “How long until an app appears after I deploy it?”

Usually within about 20 minutes of the completion email, often sooner. The device must be powered on and online. See Tracking your requests.

What’s the difference between “Request Deployment” and “Request App”?

Section titled “What’s the difference between “Request Deployment” and “Request App”?”
  • Request Deployment installs apps that are already in the catalog onto devices.
  • Request App asks an administrator to purchase licenses for an app that isn’t in the catalog yet. After it’s purchased, you still deploy it with a deployment request.

Your administrator can flag certain apps (or all apps) to require sign-off before they deploy — often for cost or policy reasons. The request will wait until the approver acts.

Yes. Start a deployment request, choose the apps and devices, and set the Deployment Action to Uninstall. See Deploy apps to devices.

Section titled “My status emails keep changing — is that a bug?”

No — that’s the Actionable email feature working as designed. In a current version of Outlook, your status email refreshes in place so the latest one always shows the current status.
